NewTide UAT Release Overview

This release focuses on improving how Excel files are processed, adding company-level control for system features, refining the IXP dashboard experience, and simplifying access to files referenced in agent messages.
Overall, these updates make document uploads more accurate, dashboards cleaner, and user workflows significantly faster.

1. Excel File Upload – Multi-Table & Multi-Sheet Fix

What’s New: Previously, the system struggled to correctly process Excel files that contained multiple sheets or several tables on a single sheet. Some tables were skipped, merged, or had misplaced data.

With this update, the Excel parsing logic has been significantly improved. The platform now detects all worksheets and every table, even when multiple tables exist on one sheet, and saves them individually as accurate datasets.

What This Means for Users: Uploads now match the original Excel file, ensuring complete, clean, and reliable data handling.

2. IXP Dashboard – Smart Display Based on Company Settings

What’s New: The IXP dashboard now automatically adapts to each company’s configuration using the new Company Settings structure. Features like Widgets and Manual Uploads will only appear if they are enabled for that specific organization.

What This Means for Users: Users will experience a cleaner, more relevant dashboard with reduced clutter and a more personalized interface.

3. Clickable File Download Links in Agent Messages

Type: New Feature
UI Impact: Visible Change

What’s New: Files referenced in agent messages now appear as clickable download links directly within the conversation. Previously, users had to leave the chat, navigate to Data Helm, and locate the file manually.

For security, each link expires after 24–48 hours and verifies the user’s access permissions.

What This Means for Users: Users can now open and download referenced files instantly, resulting in a faster, more seamless workflow.
